This article looks at the relevance of business social responsibility (CSR) pertaining to engaging employees, including its impact on their reason, identity, and sense of meaning and purpose. This explores 3 different ways that companies engage their workers through CSR: a transactional approach, wherever programs will be undertaken in order to meet the demands of personnel who want to be a part of the CSR efforts of a company; a relational way, based on a psychological agreement that emphasizes social responsibility; and a developmental procedure, which aims to activate cultural responsibility in a company and develop their employees being responsible corporate and business citizens.
